How to Apply It?
- Place 6-7 tablespoons of powdered Mahogany powder in a bowl and add ½ cup of water in it.
- Blend the mixture until it gets the soup like consistency.
- Leave the paste for few minutes.
- Apply the paste using the hair brush from root to tip of the hair.
- After five minutes, gently brush your hair to get the hair color reach at the root of the hair.
- Once done, leave the mixture on your hair for 30 minutes to get dry.
- Rinse off your hair with normal water and lit it sit to get oxidized and darken.
Note: To know whether the color will suit you or not, you must perform these two test.
Strand Test: Prepare the mixture in small quantity and apply this mixture in some area of hair and wash out after 30 minutes. This will help you to ensure whether the hair color will suit your look or not.
Hypersensitivity Test: Apply the prepared henna hair color paste in the small area of skin behind the ear and leave it to dry. If no itching, irritation, swelling, reddening, and inflammation are experienced during the test, it means that the colorant is safe to apply over hair.
