How to apply it?
- Take 6 to 7 tablespoon of natural henna hair color in a plastic bowl and add 35 cc of water in it.
- Stir the mixture until it does not convert into a thick paste.
- Leave the mixture for 30 minutes.
- Apply the paste on your hair from root to tip using a hair comb and brush.
- Leave the mixture for 30 minutes to 1 hour before washing it with cold water.
- Avoid doing shampooing for 24 hours to let the henna oxidized and darken.
Note: To know whether the color will suit you or not, you must perform these two tests.
Strand Test: Prepare the mixture in small quantity and apply this mixture in some area of hair and wash out after 30 minutes. This will help you to ensure whether the hair color will suit your look or not.
Hypersensitivity Test: Apply the prepared henna hair color paste in the small area of skin behind the ear and leave it to dry. If no itching, irritation, swelling, reddening, and inflammation are experienced during the test, it means that the colorant is safe to apply over hair.
